  • Tips for Classes at Pulse Inferno

  • Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate! Can’t stress this enough! Please drink lots of water before you come to class especially if you are participating in a heated workout. Please don’t forget your water bottle.

  • Please bring a mat & large towel that covers your mat (if you are taking a heated class - this helps improve grip). We do not rent mats for hygienic reasons. If you do forget your mat, we do sell mats & towels at the front desk.

  • Try not to eat to heavily 2 hours before class

  • Make-up and face creams can get into your eyes when sweating during class which can cause your eyes to burn. Cleaning your face before class can help. Also bringing a small hand towel to class can be useful too.

At PULSE INFERNO, you are family. So we have you covered. 

Dry towels are given before class for all your sweat needs and cold, lavender infused towels are given at the end of class to leave you feeling invigorated.

LOCKERS & SHOWERS

Our lockers are for your use and can be set with a custom combination code. 

We have two showers, one for the ladies and one for the guys, so you can leave the studio fresh and clean. 

FAQ

What time should I arrive for class?

We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before class especially if it’s your first time at our Studio. We would love to give all first-time arrivals a quick tour before heading on in for their class! We highly recommend that you sign up online to reserve your spot for class through the MindBody App.


What do I need to bring for class?

Please bring a Mat, Towel, Water, and your smile!
For all Studio Classes it is mandatory that all participants bring a yoga mat and towel. We do not provide mats nor rent mats at Pulse Inferno due to hygienic reasons. Mats are available to purchase if you happen to forget to bring yours. As well we are a cashless studio therefore don’t forget any cc you may need to purchase items.

Who are your classes geared to?

Our classes are designed for everyone. We have a variety of group fitness classes from our Hot and Cold Studio Classes, to our amazing H.E.A.T. 45 Small Group Training Classes. Our instructors will help you get the most out of your workout no matter what fitness level you are at by offering their support, modifications, and encouragement. We are for everyone and everyone is welcome!

How old must I be to participate in class?

You must be 15 years or older to participate in classes at Pulse Inferno. If you are under 18, we will need a parent or legal guardian’s signature to participate before the first class.

Pulse Inferno’s Studio Etiquette and Rule:

Pulse Inferno believes in providing a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere to our members. We value your time and want you to have the best experience possible every time you step foot through our doors. To help facilitate a community of positivity we ask that you please be mindful of your fellow members and follow our basic studio etiquette.

Make your Mat your Accessory:

For hygienic reasons we do not provide mats nor rent mats out at our studio. Mats are mandatory for studio classes. As an alternative, we provide $20 mats for purchase in case you forget yours.

 

Be true to your Word - Our No-Show Policy:

If you are signed up but can’t make it to class, please remove yourself as soon as you can (within 1 hour of your class time) on MindBody to make room for other members. There is a $10 fee on members with unlimited packages & memberships and the loss of the class for drop-ins and class packs for late cancellations and absences. If you are signed up but have a legitimate emergency that prevents you from coming to class, please remove yourself online and either send us an email or call explaining your situation so we can waive the fee. We do not take phone cancellations.

 

Workshops & Special Events - There are no refunds for late cancelations and "no shows" towards workshops. If you are an unlimited member and late cancel or "No Show" you will be charged the amount of the Workshop.

 

No Shows for Personal Training:
Cancellation fees are at the discretion of the trainer.

 

No Shows for Nutrition Appointments:
Cancellation fee is at the discretion of the Nutritionist. Fee for missed appointments is $25.00

Be An A+ Member:

Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before class starts to provide time for parking, class set up, stretching and any questions you may have for our staff and instructors. Your spot will be reserved until 5 minutes before class starts. If you are not checked in by that time your spot may be released to someone on our waitlist.

No soliciting of any type 

This includes fitness wear, any and all supplements, and business services. We want Pulse Inferno to be a hassle-free environment.

 

Check In
Upon entering the studio, please make sure to always check in for class with our front desk. If you don’t you could be charged a “No Show” fee of $10.

Also, we know you like to help out your friends but please only check in yourself. We need to be able to track our members and available class slots for our friends who are patiently waiting on the waitlist.

 

The Wait List
If you are on the waitlist, you’ll receive an email at least 1 hour prior to class start time. You will then be notified if you have been moved from the waitlist to a class space. You can also check your MINDBODY app to see if you have been moved into the class.

If you no longer want to take the class, you are responsible for removing yourself from the waitlist. If you added and fail to remove yourself then you will be charged the “No Show” Fee of $10.

 

The Stand-By
Sometimes classes that have waitlists do not end up being full due to “No-Shows”. In those situations, “stand by” members will be let into class as space permits.

 

Shoes or No Shoes
Some of our classes require no shoes. These classes are the following formats: Inferno Barre, Inferno Pilates, Inferno Fusion, and all Yoga formats. Please leave all shoes outside the studio room.

 

Cell Phones
Out of respect for your fellow members please silence your devices and store them outside the studio room. If you have a special circumstance that requires you to carry your phone please let the front desk or instructor know.

 

Food & Drink
We are big on keeping it clean especially in our lovely studio rooms. Be respectful to members and staff by not bringing in cups or uncapped bottles. We would hate for your water to be knocked over and disrupt the class. Also please NO food in the studio.

 

Personal Hygiene & Studio Cleanliness
It just goes without saying - please wear deodorant and wear clean clothing. Also, please clean up after yourself. We strive for our studio to feel like a second home so let’s treat it like one. Our Studio Floor is cleaned after each class so please help it stay clean and discard any trash in our trash bins and all provided towels in our towel bins. We do provide spray for you to clean your mat after class in turn please clean the area around your mat of any extra sweat.

 

Showering
Please ensure showering is brief after class to prevent others from waiting. As well Pulse Inferno does not provide bath towels so please bring your own from home to use.

 

Dress Code
As much as we love to see your “Hot” bods please keep your shirts on especially in our “Hot” Classes. This is for hygienic reasons and to reduce the risk of illness and infections.

 

Your Stuff
Pulse Inferno is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We do provide storage lockers for your stuff but recommend you do not bring valuables into the studio. Items left in the studio and are not claimed after 2 months will be donated. If you have left something behind please ask our front desk staff.

 

Leave your Cash at Home
We are a cashless studio; therefore, a valid credit card is required to be saved in your account for any membership related charges and purchases.

 

All Sales are Final
Be 100% sure before you purchase - all sales are final. No Refunds, No Exchanges, No price adjustments, No extensions, No transfers, and No sharing packages. No exceptions.

Accounts and Memberships:

For Liability purposes each member must have their own MINDBODY account. Sharing memberships or checking in under another person’s account is not permitted. Any violation of this will result in immediate termination of studio privileges and full payment owed for classes.

Payments:

If payment is denied for any auto renewal contract after the 5th day you will be charged a $25 late fee. If payment is not received by the 10th day of delinquency you will incur an additional $25 fee.

 

Canceling Membership or Packages:
Our billing is month to month and is automatically deducted the 1st of the month. All Single Classes, Class Packages, Unlimited Packages, Special Promotions, Workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. At the end of your contract term (6-month, 12-month, or month-to-month) if you do not wish to renew your contract you must fill out a 30-Day Cancelation Form. The form needs to be turned into Pulse Studio, 43750 Central Station Drive, Suite 165, Ashburn, VA 20147 in person. Members will be charged the monthly membership fee and membership will end 30 days from cancelation payment.

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

If during the original term of this contract you relocate more than a 15-mile radius from this business, you may cancel this agreement by providing a 30-day written notice and proof of relocation in the form of a newly issued driver’s license or utility bill. If you die or become permanently disabled you or your estate may cancel this contract by providing a written request and certifiable proof of death or disability. For permanent disability, your doctor must provide certification of the disability and state that you are unable to use the facilities. The business reserves the right to cancel or suspend your membership privileges for any time for any reason. If such cancellation or suspension is due to a violation of studio policies, violations of terms or due to damages rendered by yourself or your guest, you are subject to full responsibility of the terms of this agreement along with a $50 fee and any charges for repairs to damages made. In order to process this cancellation please provide proof listed above.

 

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DEFAULT AND LATE PAYMENTS:

Should you default on any payment obligation as called for in this agreement, Pulse Studioz will have the right to declare the entire remaining balance due and payable and you agree to pay allowable interest, and all costs of collection, including but not limited to collection agency fees, court costs, and attorney fees. A default occurs when any payment due under this agreement is more than five days late. A SERVICE FEE WILL BE CHARGED IMMEDIATELY FOR ANY CHECK, DRAFT, CREDIT CARD, OR ORDER RETURNED FOR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS OR ANY OTHER REASON. SHOULD ANY MONTHLY PAYMENT BECOME MORE THAN TEN DAYS PAST DUE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED ANOTHER LATE FEE. If the MEMBER is paying monthly dues by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), PULSE STUDIOZ designated billing company reserves the right to draft via EFT all amounts owed by the MEMBER including any and all late fees and service fees. Subject to appropriate State and Federal Law.

 

RIGHT TO CHANGE DESIGNATED BILLING COMPANY: 

The STUDIO hereby reserves the right to change the designated billing company at their discretion and without warning. If such a change is made, the full terms and conditions of this agreement will continue to apply and you agree to authorize the new designated billing to continue drafting their account.

 

NOTICE: ANY HOLDER OF THIS AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND DEFENSES WHICH THE DEBTOR COULD ASSERT AGAINST THE SELLER OF GOODS OR SERVICES OBTAINED PURSUANT HERETO OR WITH THE PROCEEDS HEREOF, RECOVERY HEREUNDER BY THE DEBTOR SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID BY THE DEBTOR HEREUNDER.

 

MEMBERSHIP FREEZE POLICY:

If you have a term membership (i.e. 12-month, etc.) you may freeze time on your membership up to 30 days. Freezing time on your membership does not stop your membership payments. You are still liable for your original payment schedule. Once you resume any usage of Pulse Studioz, the freeze will terminate. Time of any freeze will be credited to the end of your membership’s original term.

 

Military Member:

If at any time during the term of your agreement, you are deployed or assigned to active duty, Pulse Studioz will allow you to freeze your membership for the time in which you are absent upon written request from you. You will need to provide proof of deployment or assignment detailing your absence and the applicable time period.

 

MAINTENANCE OF FACILITIES:

The STUDIO may be temporarily closed for periods of up to 2 weeks each year for maintenance purposes. The STUDIO reserves the right to add a periodic facility maintenance charge. If a facility maintenance charge is implemented in the future, you will be given a minimum of a 60-day notice of the amount owed and due date. You authorize the designated billing company to auto draft this amount along with your regular membership dues.

 

MEMBER OBLIGATIONS:

(1) MEMBER agrees to abide by all Pulse Studioz policies, follow the directions of the staff regarding safety and security issues, and to treat the staff and other MEMBERs with courtesy. (2) MEMBER agrees to pay monthly dues on time, including notifying Pulse Studioz promptly if banking or credit card information used for automatic payment changes, or to be charged a declined payment fee and/or a late fee per delinquent payment. (3) MEMBER agrees to pay all costs of collection incurred by the holder of this agreement if this account becomes more than 60 days past due. (4) MEMBER agrees to continue to fulfill the financial obligation of this agreement, except as allowed below.

SUMMARY OF MEMBERSHIP POLICIES

  1. MEMBER, by executing this Agreement, does hereby join Pulse Studioz and such membership entitles the MEMBER to use the facilities. The MEMBER is entitled to use the facility only and MEMBER shall be required to provide MEMBER’s own athletic equipment and clothes.

  2. MEMBER agrees to abide by all membership regulations of Pulse Studioz. MEMBER agrees to comply with stated and customary rules for participation and use of equipment. Unless cancelled as provided in this Agreement, MEMBER will be responsible for all payments due and owing under this Agreement, even if MEMBER does not use the STUDIO’s facilities and services. However, in the event of death or disability, liability for fees will terminate as of the date of death or disability. If the STUDIO becomes temporarily unavailable due to an event such as fire, flood, loss of lease, or the life, we will extend the MEMBER’s membership privileges for the period the facilities were unavailable.

  3. If MEMBER violates this Agreement and the terms contained therein or any of the rules and regulations for use of the facility, Pulse Studioz may suspend the MEMBER’s right to use the facility until such time as the MEMBER provides the STUDIO with reasonable assurance of future compliance. During the period of any such suspension, the MEMBER shall not be entitled to a credit for any prepayment of dues or other fees due or paid pursuant to this Membership Agreement. In the event MEMBER continues to violate the terms of this Agreement or the rules and regulations governing the facility, the MEMBER’s membership may be terminated by the STUDIO, and the balance of the contract declared due and payable in full immediately.

  4. MEMBER agrees that he/she shall not engage in any type of commercial or business activity while using the facilities. MEMBER shall not act as a trainer for any other MEMBERs or guests and any acts which constitute such business activities are strictly forbidden. If MEMBER engages in such commercial or business activities MEMBER’s membership shall be subject to immediate cancellation and the balance of the contract declared due and payable in full immediately.

  5. MEMBER agrees that MEMBER shall abide by Pulse Studioz dress code at all times while in the facility.

  6. MEMBER agrees that MEMBER shall not use loud or profane language upon the Pulse Studioz premises nor shall MEMBER molest, badger, assault or harass other STUDIO MEMBERs, guests or employees. If MEMBER engages in such behavior, MEMBER’s membership shall be subject to immediate cancellation, and the balance of the contract declared due and payable in full immediately.

  7. MEMBER understands MEMBER may be photographed at Pulse Studioz. By execution of this Agreement, MEMBER agrees to allow MEMBER’s photo, video or likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by Pulse Studioz, and their respective producers, sponsors, organizers and/or assigns, in their discretion. MEMBER acknowledges that by signing this Agreement, MEMBER gives up all claims of ownership, income, editorial content, and use of such media.   1. MEMBER agrees that if MEMBER fails to use the Pulse Studioz facilities that shall not release the MEMBER from the obligation to make all payments required by the terms of this Membership Agreement.

  2. Arbitration: All disputes (except small claims under $1,000) will be settled by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator under the authority of the Federal Arbitration Act, conducted by and in accordance with the rules and procedures of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will take place in the county in which this STUDIO is located unless otherwise agreed. All arbitration proceedings must be made by an individual claimant and will not be conducted on a “class” basis. The decision of the arbitrator must be a reasoned award. The decision of the arbitrator will be nil and binding on all parties and may be enforced by a judgment entered upon the arbitration award by any state or federal court in this state. Any award from the arbitrator may be appealed under the Appellate Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

  3. Should this Agreement be placed in the hands of an attorney for the violation of any provision contained herein, the parties agree the STUDIO shall been titled to recover all costs and expenses resulting there from, including a reasonable amount as attorney’s fees.

  4. The parties hereby agree that the whole agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof is contained in this Agreement and shall supersede any prior understandings, arrangements, commitments, or undertakings of the parties, whether written or oral, express, or implied.

  5. This Agreement may not be amended or modified except by an instrument in writing executed by the parties hereto.

  6. MEMBER authorizes Pulse Studioz, and their authorized designees to contact them by email, telephone, or by other means. Subject to applicable law, Member agrees that any of these parties may contact Member at any mailing address, phone number or email address set forth on the face of this agreement, or any other address subsequently provided to, or obtained by, any such party.

  7. Pulse Studioz retains the right to modify these policies without warning. Reasonable rules and regulations may be posted in the Membership Guide or at Pulse Studioz from time to time and all MEMBERs shall be subject to strict compliance therewith. The most current copy of the Membership Guide can be found at Pulse Studioz or at the Pulse Studioz MindBody Contract.

SAFETY NOTICES:

  • Client training services provided in this facility may be provided either by employees of the studio or by independent contractors operating their own business who are retained by Pulse Studioz. Regardless, all payments for personal training services are to be made to Pulse Studioz, who will pay the trainers as the services provided.

  • It is MEMBER’s responsibility to wipe down all equipment after each use and re-rack the equipment they use.

  • MEMBER is required to use the safety features of the equipment. If you are unsure of how to use a machine, you should obtain instructions from the staff or personal trainers.

  • Horseplay, vulgar language, abuse of the equipment, working out while intoxicated, or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the suspension or cancellation of the MEMBER’s membership, and the balance of the contract being declared due and payable in full immediately.

  • Photography and/or videography are not allowed anywhere in the STUDIO unless with specific consent from Pulse Inferno Management.
